If a page turn went wrong, tap That turn was wrong in the player’s status bar right after it happens, then share the report from there and attach it to your email. It holds what SheetScroll decided in the last minute, never any audio.

Questions

How do I add my music?

In the library, tap Add music and pick files: PDFs, photos of paper music, MusicXML, MuseScore, Guitar Pro, MIDI, ABC, chord charts and more. To bring in a paper score, tap Scan pages and photograph each page. From another app, such as Files, Mail or a browser, share a file and choose SheetScroll, or use Open in.

No music at hand? Tap Try a sample in the empty library, or later in the library’s ⋯ menu. It adds two public-domain pieces to try SheetScroll with: Bach’s Prelude in C major and Petzold’s Minuet in G. Tapping it again never adds a second copy, and you can delete the samples like any other score.

SheetScroll keeps its own copy and never changes your original. Moving from forScore or MobileSheets? Use the link in the library to bring your library across with its titles, tags and setlists.

When does the page turn?

Once you are in the last line of the page, about a bar before its end, the way a page-turner who knows the piece would. For more warning, set your own lead in Settings → Player. Choose how you read in the player: one page, two side by side, half-page turns, or line by line.

SheetScroll never turns early. When it is not sure where you are, for example in two passages that sound alike, it keeps the page where it is and says why in the status bar. Keep playing and it finds you, or tap the bar you are on. To turn a score by hand, open its options in the player and choose to turn it by hand.

Does my page-turn pedal work?

Yes. Pair a Bluetooth page-turn pedal with your device in its Bluetooth settings, then open a score. SheetScroll understands the keys most pedals send (Page Down and Page Up, the arrow keys, Space) out of the box. If yours sends something else, set its keys in Settings → Pedals and keyboard.

The pedal and your taps always win, and each press also tells SheetScroll where you are, so it can follow you more closely.

How does listening work, and what can it follow?

Listening and automatic page turns are part of SheetScroll Pro. Open a score and play: SheetScroll listens through the microphone while the score is open and the app is in front, so there is nothing to press (turn that off in Settings → Listening if you would rather tap Listen). Allow the microphone when your device asks; if you said no, open the Settings app, tap SheetScroll and turn on Microphone.

Piano and other keyboards are followed best. Strings, woodwinds, brass, voice and guitar are in beta. With a digital piano connected over USB or Bluetooth MIDI, choose it in Settings → Listening and SheetScroll follows the notes themselves. Sound is analysed on your device and never recorded.

How do I restore my purchase?

Pro belongs to the Apple Account you bought it with. On a new iPhone or iPad, or after reinstalling, sign in with that Apple Account, open SheetScroll, and tap Restore Purchases where Pro is offered. Your subscription or lifetime purchase comes back at no charge. If it does not, write to us, and include your device and the date of purchase. Your purchase receipt from Apple shows it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then SheetScroll Pro.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and the free reader and your whole library stay yours after that. The lifetime purchase never renews. For a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page.

How do I keep my library the same on all my devices?

In Settings → Sync, choose Use iCloud Drive (or Google Drive, where it is offered). Make the same choice on your next device. An iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account joins at once; otherwise it shows six digits, and you allow it from your first device when the same digits appear there. A recovery code in Settings → Sync joins without another device; keep it somewhere safe.

Everything sync sends is end-to-end encrypted, so only your devices can read it. Sync never changes the score you are playing: changes from other devices wait until you close it. To move a library without sync, use Settings → Storage → Backup.

Can a group turn pages together?

Yes, on one Wi-Fi network. In the player, the leader taps Lead other devices and shows a code; the others tap Follow a leader and scan it or enter its short code. Each device follows in its own copy of the piece. Allow SheetScroll to find devices on the local network when asked. Only bar positions are shared, encrypted.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Importing, reading and following all run on your device, in airplane mode too. Only sync, purchases and downloads use the internet.
