Help
How each part of SheetScroll works, step by step. For anything else, write to support@sheetscroll.com.
Getting started
- Opening music filesSheetScroll opens PDFs, photos, MusicXML, MuseScore, Guitar Pro, MIDI, ABC, chord charts and more. How to add them, and pair a scan with a digital copy.
- Listening and the microphoneWhere to put your device, what SheetScroll hears, when it holds the page, and how tapping the bar you are on tells it where you are.
- Page turnsThe page turns two beats before the end, never early. How to change that lead, what half-page turns are, and how pedals, taps and turning by hand fit in.
- Digital pianos over MIDIConnect a digital piano by USB or Bluetooth MIDI and SheetScroll follows the notes themselves, with no microphone. Here is how to set it up.
Playing and practicing
- SetlistsMake a setlist, put it in order, add notes, share it or export it for forScore. Each piece opens and listens by itself. Setlists are free.
- Practice toolsLoop hard bars, practice one hand at a time, set your own tempo and count in, then see what to work on in your practice history.
- Writing on your musicDraw with a pen or highlighter, add fingerings, bowings and other stamps, erase and undo. Marks stay with their bars in every view.
- TunerUse Tune in the player to see whether a string or note is flat, sharp or in tune, set your reference A, and see what tuning a score is written in.
- Play togetherOne device listens and every other device turns with it over Wi-Fi, in the app or a browser. How to lead, follow with a code or QR, and what is shared.
Sync and Pro
- SyncUse iCloud Drive, Google Drive or a folder your own sync app keeps up to date. Everything sync sends is end-to-end encrypted. No SheetScroll account.
- SheetScroll ProThe reader is free. Pro adds listening and automatic page turns: $5.99 a month, $29.99 a year or $79.99 once. How to restore, cancel and what stays.
