Good to know.
Is SheetScroll free?
The reader is, for good: bring in your music, read it in any view, write on it, build setlists and turn pages with a pedal or a tap. Listening and automatic page turns are SheetScroll Pro: $5.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or $79.99 once.
Which instruments does it follow?
Piano and other keyboards are followed best. Strings, woodwinds, brass, voice and guitar (tab included) are in beta: they work, and they’re getting better. A digital piano connected over USB or Bluetooth MIDI is followed from the notes themselves, with no microphone at all.
Does it scroll at a set speed?
No. SheetScroll moves only when you do. It listens for where you are in the music, so it waits when you slow down, stop or go back.
What if it loses track of me?
It tells you. When SheetScroll isn’t sure where you are, it holds the page and says so in the status bar, rather than guessing. Keep playing and it finds you, or tap the bar you’re on.
Can I still use my page-turn pedal?
Yes. Pedals turn pages as they always have, and each press also tells SheetScroll where you are. The pedal and your taps always win.
Does it work with photos of paper music?
Yes. Photograph or scan the pages and they open right away, exactly as they look on paper. Following scanned music is newer, so it’s in beta. Have a digital copy of the same piece? SheetScroll pairs the two and follows your pages as well as the digital score.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Everything from importing to following runs on your device, so SheetScroll works the same in airplane mode, in a practice room or on stage.
