What SheetScroll is
SheetScroll is an app for musicians who play from the page. You open a PDF, a photo of paper music or a digital score, and play. The app follows where you are and turns the page for you, so both hands can stay on the instrument.
It does not scroll at a set speed. It listens for your place in the music, so it waits when you slow down, stop or go back. It follows repeat signs, first and second endings, D.S. and coda. When two passages sound alike, it holds the page until the music tells them apart.
Why it exists
Turning a page is a small problem that interrupts music. A human page turner is not always there. A pedal needs a free foot and a moment of attention. Auto-scroll runs at a fixed speed whether or not you do.
SheetScroll is built around one idea: turn the page like a human page turner who knows the piece. That means never early, holding the page when unsure, and finding you again when you start over.
What it stands for
- Nothing over the music. The page is for the score. Controls appear when you ask for them.
- Your own pages. It plays from the PDFs and scans you already own, markings and all, as they look on paper.
- Free to read. The reader is free forever, with every format and view, annotations, setlists, and page turns by pedal or tap. Listening and automatic page turns are SheetScroll Pro.
- Private by design. Sound is analyzed on your device as it arrives, and never recorded, stored or sent. There is no account and no tracking, in the apps or on this site.
- Works offline. Everything runs on your device, in airplane mode too. Only sync, purchases and downloads use the internet.
