How do students and teachers get a free year of Pro?

Anyone with a university or college email gets a year of SheetScroll Pro free. In the app, open Settings → SheetScroll Pro → Student or teacher? A year of Pro free, then enter your school email and the 6-digit code we send. No card, no charge, no account.

How do I get it?

  1. Open Settings → SheetScroll Pro and tap Student or teacher? A year of Pro free. It is also under the plans when you tap Upgrade to Pro.
  2. Enter your school email and tap Send code.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email. On an iPhone or iPad, it fills in from Mail.
  4. On a computer, the web or Android, Pro turns on at once. On an iPhone or iPad, tap Redeem in the App Store: the App Store opens with your code filled in, and you redeem it there.

Who can get it?

Students and staff of universities and colleges around the world, with the email address their school gives them, such as name@university.edu, name@ox.ac.uk or name@uni-heidelberg.de. We check the address against public lists of tens of thousands of universities and colleges, updated with each SheetScroll release. Primary and secondary schools are not included.

What happens after a year?

The free year ends on its own: nothing renews and nothing is charged. A piece you are playing when it ends keeps listening until you close it. Then Settings and the Pro sheet show Still at school? Verify again: verify your school email again for the next year.

Does it work on all my devices?

Yes. With sync on, Pro for education reaches your other synced devices like any Pro. On an iPhone or iPad it belongs to your Apple Account. Without sync, verify the same school email on another computer or browser and it gets the same year.

What happens to my school email?

We send the code from verify@sheetscroll.com and keep only a scrambled form of your address, so that each address gets one free year at a time. On computers, the web and Android, Polar, our reseller, keeps it to issue your license key. Details are in the privacy policy.

Questions

Do I need a card?

No. Nothing is charged, and the free year doesn't turn into a paid one.

My school email isn't accepted. Why?

Pro for education takes the addresses of tens of thousands of universities and colleges, from public lists updated with each SheetScroll release. Primary and secondary schools, and addresses alumni keep, are not included.

The code didn't arrive.

Check your spam folder, then tap Send a new code after a minute. Some schools hold outside mail for a few minutes.

Can I get the next year early?

No. Each address has one free year at a time; Still at school? Verify again appears when it ends.
